If you enjoyed childhood activities like digging for rocks and making mud pies in the fresh air, you're fortunate!
​
Engaging with mud and dirt promotes learning, relaxation, and creativity in children, benefiting their physical and emotional well-being. We're excited to announce that our 2024-2025 fall and spring fundraisers - and the generosity of our donors - have successfully funded a high-quality mud kitchen for outdoor play.
Made from locally-sourced and sustainably-harvested hardwoods in Pennsylvania's Amish country, our new two-piece mud kitchen is in the final stages of completion. With more to add to make our garden classroom "bloom" including installation of soft astroturf for little bare feet, stocking the new addition with all the cool kitchen "tools" AND a big reveal party before the end of the school year, stay tuned for updates!
