Colonial Hills United Methodist School was founded in 1970, and since then we have been providing the best private toddler, Pre-K, and Kindergarten programs in San Antonio. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving environment that nurtures the whole child.

The educational experience your child will receive at CHUMS goes beyond the classroom to provide them with the key social-emotional skills necessary for future academic success. Although many people think of school readiness as academic preparedness, we ask parents look differently at what it means to be ready. School readiness skills, directly associated with academic success, are often referred to as “social and emotional health” skills. Research shows high quality toddler, pre-k and Kindergarten programs provide one the best opportunities to prepare your child for their academic career. Our hands-on activities and discovery methods of learning, in conjunction with Conscious Discipline, provide the tools necessary to be not only successful in school, but also successful in life.
